Review: And Evermore Shall Be So
Sleaford Little Theatre is a member of NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) and every production that we put on we invite a representative.
For 'And Evermore Shall Be So' we were pleased to welcome Anne Huckerby to the Playhouse.
Anne reviewed our production and had this to say:
The set was really first rate, but then, the sets are always excellent at Sleaford. The furnishings were really suitable and the backstage crew worked very well together on necessary scene changes.
I feel all the characters had been well chosen by Joanne and Terry for they all suited their roles really well. I congratulated Richard on his portrayal of the vicar before Jeff and I left and would like you to pass on my congratulations to the rest of the cast. I particularly enjoyed Andy's version of Brandon Walsh, Julie and Tracey as the two garrulous busybodies and Nancy as Gwendoline. The costumes throughout were fine but I must confess that I have never met quite such a glamorous vicar's wife as Lydia. I always think of the clergy as being as poor as church mice.
Thank you to Christine for looking after us so well. It was lovely to see a few old friends from what seems like ages ago when S.L.T. was one of my societies. It's clear that the society is maintaining its excellent record.
Thank you to Anne and her husband Jeff for attending and congratulations to Directors Joanne and Terry and the cast and crew for putting together a top rate production.
