Ever fancied having a go at directing a play?

Ever fancied having a go at directing a play?

Have you ever thought that you might like to try your hand at directing a play for SLT? Maybe you are a new member who put down "directing" as an interest on your application form?

Don't be shy, why not come along to a special evening on Tuesday 19th September at the Playhouse at 7:30 pm.

You will have a chance to talk to experienced directors both old and new to find out more about directing for SLT and how to go about it. The bar will be open, and there will be a few nibbles as well.

We hope to be putting on some one act plays in the new year, which is always a great opportunity for inexperienced directors to try things out. Also, if you have any ideas about plays you would like to direct, come ready to talk to Garry, who heads our play selection committee and would be delighted to hear from you.

Remember, everyone has to start somewhere, and there are lots of us around to give you help and support if you go it alone or you may want to co-direct in the first instance with an experienced director.

We look forward to seeing you there.
